1. The rise of the New Left is going to change the political landscape. Young people are

far more informed than the generations ahead of them, AND they are the ones who have suffered the most as a result of the policies of those generations, deregulation, NAFTA, Wars etc.

They were the ones who most supported and still do, the OWS movement, who see the corruption of Wall St and the lack of accountability.

The Dem Party has pushed Liberals aside assuming they 'have nowhere to go' as they push the DLC agenda. But maybe they should stop sticking to these old failed policies and look around, the Left is sick of being told to 'STFU' by the party they so loyally supported for so long. And without this growing demographic, they can't win elections.

I think Papantonio is correct, the Left now has the support of the current and next generation to reject those failed policies and they are making their voices heard. And it's way past due.
