Obama DOJ Asks Court to Grant Immunity to George W. Bush + For Iraq War

Long-ish video but get the gist of in the first 4 minutes. Lawyer for the plaintiff and the guy who wrote the article below on RT.

Or short article here

In court papers filed today (PDF), the United States Department of Justice requested that George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice and Paul Wolfowitz be granted procedural immunity in a case alleging that they planned and waged the Iraq War in violation of international law.

The case is Saleh v. Bush (N.D. Cal. Mar. 13, 2013, No. C 13 1124 JST).

That is a lot of people they are asking immunity for. Shut down buries the story.

Just as is this administration for continuing the wars.

They control "justice" and will never be held accountable.

“The DOJ claims that in planning and waging the Iraq War, ex-President Bush and key members of his Administration were acting within the legitimate scope of their employment and are thus immune from suit,” chief counsel Inder Comar of Comar Law said

The above named individuals do need to stand trial for their war crimes. They did plan the Iraqi invasion before gaining office. They did invade using lies and subterfuge. They did oversee war crimes our military committed after the invasion. The killing is still going on there.
For the Department of Justice to defend these people is conspiracy, as many of the people still in charge there now, were hired or otherwise put into place under bu$h the lesser and allowed to remain in place by this administration.

They were "Just doing their jobs."

I always thought we did the WWII trials tongue in cheek, but here you have it. It's cool when we do it, we're too big to jail.

No they are not too big. It all boils down to money and who has the most, the criminals or the prosecutors.

how these criminals escape justice. They're always carping about children soldiers and those responsible for other atrocities around the world ect,, yada, yada, yada. Yet they are responsible for over a millions deaths and continuing carnage in two places for sure and immunity is their blanket. JCAM!!!!!! Karma is real. Their life of retirement luxury is the prelude to an eternity of feeling the pain and misery they caused to all affected by their lying ways and actions. I HOPE!

You don't have to worry about the voting public's reaction.

While I appreciate that DOJ asking for immunity is tantamount to admitting they have created crimes,
this really is the last straw.

Though I expected it, their inaction showed their stand on the issue from day one, there is no way I can describe my fury, disappointment and the sadness to come when my vision clears.
