MUST Watch - Dr Helen Caldicott - Nuclear Facts: Chyrnobl, Fukushima, Bhagdad, Fallujah

This is a MUST watch. Caldicott puts the nuclear radiation facts together in historical perspective to give an horrific picture of where we actually stand at this point.

Read "the new nuclear danger" years ago and her description of meeting with Reagan sent a chill down my spine. He was really in the grips of Alzheimer's for a large portion of his term.

Check this one out too : http://m.

She is a global treasure. You really hope people like this are mentoring someone to replace them and their work when they pass on. We need her.

Paperbackswap.com.
Based on this blurb of the book:

In her uncannily timely new book, Dr. Helen Caldicott looks at the indebtedness of the Bush Administration to the arms industry and warns of the incredible dangers inherent in allowing weapons manufacturers to dictate foreign policy
. Recounting the history of government collusion with industry, Caldicott shows how the merging of weapons firms in the 1980s created hugely powerful "death merchants," including Lockheed and others, ready to lobby politicians and manipulate public opinion on behalf of their corporate interests.

Thanks for the post!

G.E. and the other merchants of death have made trillions in profit which allows them to purchase politicians
to insure that this horrendous cycle of genocide and the death of our planet continues.

"There is absolutely nothing we can do about it", this has already happened and is destroying the world and it's inhabitants.

However, WE MUST stop this from re-occurring. Whatever it takes. WE MUST take control and completely end
the insanity of nuclear plants, weapons, everything.
There is already so much nuclear waste in the world (very much in America, that our citizens do not know about) that the idea that we can contain and store this waste indefinitely is insanity.

As a union carpenter I have helped build nuclear containment sites for nuclear waste in Cincinnati, Oh.
I was exposed, contacted by the NRC while recuperating from a massive heart attack. The NRC had closed shop and left "in the middle of the night" by the time I was supposed to go for a physical..
No one in our Union ever heard from them again and they (NRC) denied everything.
They could not afford to allow the citizens to know of the waste site and the danger it poses.

One can invest and form a symbiotic relationship with corporations like GE. Profiting as they profit. Putting your life blood into ensuring more of the same.
Or, one can be tell people the truth. The truth corporate media obscures and avoids. See if it triggers some emotion from them. If they have the minutest of liberal leanings, the choice is easily obvious.
