A lot of the rhetoric over the government shutdown has included the term “hostage-takers,” and on Tuesday night’s Daily Show, correspondent Jason Jones enlisted an actual hostage negotiator to help him talk with a Republican strategist to understand exactly what the GOP’s demands are.
