And of course, "Me" is "Special" and deserves everything; you deserve nothing.

McDonald’s Corp.... pay for lobbying against minimum-wage increases and sought to quash the kind of unionization efforts that erupted recently... (minimum wage workers) would need about a million hours of work -- or more than a century on the clock -- to earn the $8.75 million that McDonald’s, based in the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook, paid then- CEO Jim Skinner last year (now CEO Jeffrey Stratton is the one on the video-- probably makes more than 8.5 mil/year)).

The turn of the century Coal companies would rather pay out hundreds of thousands of dollars to the likes of the Pinkerton agency, than give anything to their workers anything.

Well worth the money spent, a wise investment with an excellent rate of return.

In 2012, his pay package went up to $27.7 million from $8.8 million the year before, reflecting a $10.2 million payment as part of his retirement under his contract agreement.

His pay included a base salary of $753,333, stock awards of $1.7 million and option awards of $3 million. His incentive pay came to $11.6 million, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

All other compensation came to $10.6 million, reflecting his $10.2 million as part of his retirement, contributions to retirement plans and use of a company plane. The company noted that Skinner will also get "secretarial services" for two years after his retirement.

As for Thompson, his pay included a base salary of $979,167 and stock awards of $660,129. His pay increase came mostly from his option awards, which rose to $3.2 million from $785,902, and his incentive pay, which rose to $8.6 million from $1.5 million.

The ex CEO gets $27.5 million, the current one gets $13.8 million. And we wonder why our wages haven't changed.

If she worked there for 40 years, she'd probably still only get $8.25 an hour, unless this country makes some badly needed changes.

but now will make a concerted effort to NEVER go. It's the least I can do. Wonder how many of us kind of impulsively pull into the drive-through because we are kind of hungry and they are everywhere! That's my story.

Nancy Salgado interrupted a speech by Jeff Stratton, President of McDonald's USA, LLC, telling him she's worked for McDonald's for 10 years and can't even afford to buy shoes for her two children. She was promptly arrested:

Nancy Salgado is 26 years old and is a cashier at McDonald's. She has been at her current McDonald's for ten months. She is a single mother with seven- and two-year old children. The family currently lives in Logan Square, a community on Chicago’s northwest Side. Nancy earns $8.25 an hour, works thirty to forty hours per week and is struggling to raise her two kids. Nancy has worked for McDonald’s since she was 16 and has never had a raise.
