Bill Maher ended his show Friday night going after both Michele Bachmann and Antonin Scalia for being so open about their religious beliefs, saying even though Scalia’s viewed as more serious than Bachmann, “they’re the exact same idiot.” Maher argued that anyone who honestly believes in things like the end times or Satan cannot be allowed to make decisions for the rest of the country.

4. It was the sort of humor that makes you think so much, you may not laugh

even though it is funny. It leaves you somewhere in that emotional trauma land between laughing and crying. I was surprised that the audience didn't laugh more, but this was really hard hitting stuff when you stop to consider the power Scalia has.

We can laugh about Palin and Bachmann or Louis Gomert because they are just village idiots with no real power. But Maher is absolutely right. Scalia is that same idiot, except he's one of the most powerful people in the whole world.

The guy was irritating enough but the gal took the cake - kept blaming Obama for putting Dubya's wars on the books and repeating debt, debt, debt.
