By voting up good comments, voting down the bigoted ones. And if this is all that Andrew Breitbart can come up with...pfffft. What a pathetic legacy of Breitbart.

is the tape? Good for you President Obama! This is a good thing. Now you will surely win!

Before Andrew Breitbart's unexpected death, the conservative blogger and journalist had promised to release video footage of President Barack Obama that he said would change the election. Now, BuzzFeed has unearthed the video it believes Breitbart was referring to, according to the site's editor-in-chief, Ben Smith.

If this is indeed the footage in question, it's not particularly controversial

Only a really rabid racist could find this speech shocking. I just don't get the excitement about this.

This video only shows that Obama was as impressive then as he is now, so I'm not getting how this film will change the election. By getting him more votes?

I have no idea! I guess Hannity's ratings are down and they are trying to get the fools to tune in tonight. I just saw a clip of Hannity on Mediaite, they are saying the "scandal" is that another professor said the tape was hidden. How hidden was it if it aired on PBS?...and it is the same tape. These people are nuts.

Wow, Just look at those faces as they listen to him!

Judging from the YouTube comments: they didn't even listen to his words...
They didn't "open up their hearts" and they, sure didn't "open up their minds!"

There were some troubling sections in the the NDAA of 2011. I'm disappointed with congress for presenting the president with such a vitally important, and yet deeply flawed bill. While I recognize the difficult choice the president was given to either sign, or not to sign this bill authorizing spending to support ongoing military operations, I remain troubled with the president's choice to sign.

But the fact that Barack Obama was active in 1990 in standing up for an issue that was important to him - diversity among Harvard's faculty - does not trouble me. Good for him.

He was born to lead alright. That's why his parents rushed him to Hawaii and forged that birth certificate (sarcasm).

Man, I think of how I--and everyone I knew--was in college, and we weren't anything close to that. Like some have said up the thread, you can't teach that, you either have it or you don't. Sigh. Glad he's our President.

That beautiful man was so eloquent and generous and gracious, even back then.

His voice could have spoken those words just yesterday. It's only when I could glean a bit of a youthful fro instead of a Presidential crew cut that I realized it was Obama as a younger man.
