Papantonio: The Hijacking of The Republican Party

This segment originally aired on the October 20th, 2013 episode of Ring of Fire on Free Speech TV. John Boehner has his hands tied by Tea Party extremists who are willing to burn down our economy for their selfish goals. So why are long-standing GOP politicians willing to bow to the Tea Party? Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio speaks with attorneys Dave TeSelle and Howard Nations to help answer that question.

If the 1% didn't want their "tea party" buffoons to lead on this, they wouldn't have allowed them to lead, whatever bipartisan BS pumped out about Boehner being some "moderate" with his "hands tied by extremists".

This is pure theatre with a scapegoat greasing the way for false "moderates" already primed to create a new "normal". I don't accept it for a minute, a second, even a split-second.

Looking at it from the outside, I don't see any "moderate" Republicans, though I see a lot of sleaze pretending to be that. How do people who claim Boehner is somehow "moderate" define the term? "Moderate" about what? Compared to what?

The words 'moderate' and 'center' are the most abused words in politics - whenever I hear them I think "Fuck you! Explain the definite governmental programs that you're endorsing, I won't allow you to throw the totally false relativism of words like 'moderate' at me."

They're in effect painting the party of GWB as "moderate" compared to the 100% astroturf "tea party" bullshit.
