Frank Zappa on Crossfire

I don't remember seeing this before and I see it was last posted on DU around 2006. Zappa was invited to Crossfire in 1986 to discuss censorship of music. It is interesting to see the "conservative" arguing for the governments role in protecting people. Zappa does a great job of beating back the RW argument and personal attacks while keeping his composure. He also astutely points out that the #1 threat to America is RW fascist theocracy. That's an observation ahead of it's time as far as I can tell. Novak laughs it off, but it turns out Zappa was correct. This is an outstanding clip and well worth watching.

when conservatives are personally offended.

Interestingly, this guy John Lofton is now a member of the Constitution Party.

Any or all of the above. They would have so much to say about the bullshit that's been going on since they died, and their silence is a national tragedy.
