Pope Can Clean Up The Church By ExCommunicating Bill Donohue

The Vatican announced this week that it was forming a committee to tackle child abuse in the Catholic church. Pope Francis states that the issue is critical in order for the Catholic church to regain lost credibility. This comes a few days after the Vatican refused a request from the UN concerning alleged abuse cases.

But while the Pope forms his committee, he might look into eliminating the attitudes of people like the Catholic League's loud spokesman Bill Donohue, who recently claimed on CNN that sexual relations between two people could not be considered an act of pedophilia, as long as both participants are "post pubescent."

It is hard to imagine anyone taking that guy seriously!
I saw that CNN segment- that sexual relations between two people could not be considered an act of pedophilia, as long as both participants are "post pubescent." He refuses to even begin to acknowledge who has the "power" in the relationship and how Catholic kids are taught that priests are always to be respected and obeyed no matter.
Sad, really sad.

There were two boys in my class who had full-on beards. I guess they were ready for priest love.

I can't imagine taking him seriously, but apparently, he's serious enough for CNN to put him in front of the world.

I can't think of a reason why someone who wasn't a pedophile, would ever use that reasoning. Sounds like he's covering up crimes.

Timothy Dolan, the Cardinal in New York is one. This is the idiot that tried to backtrack on the Pope saying the anyone can go to Heaven if they except Jesus. He's also signed the "Manhattan Declaration" which told Christians to go against laws the allow abortion and same-sex marriage. Not to even mention the $20,000 he stole from the Church to pay off priests who molested kids to step down quietly and not make it a big fight. He's a piece of shit and should be in prison.

I wrote an article yesterday about Bill Donohue being a giant douche! I totally agree with you, dude. Bill does not represent the spirit of christ at all.

Look at his blogs. Oh. My. God.

It appears like the Catholic League is just Donohue with a fax machine.
