Dan Rather criticizes CBS re Lara Logan/Benghazi

In the meantime, Mediaite has a good summary and quotes Rather from the Dec. 9 "Piers Morgan Tonight": “With our story, the one that led to our difficulty, no question the story was true. What the complaint… was ‘Okay, your story was true, but where you got to the truth was flawed.’”

Just because she not only took the word of a RW con, but disregarded many available sources to tell her that he was bogus and that just because she leans hard to the Right, she shouldda passed on this very "good" RW storyteller. I say NO.

fit to work for Fox now. It is hyprcritical of CBS to put her on "leave" while they fired Dan Rather. They might not have liked the approach Rather used to do his story, but his story was true. Logan made no effort to commit to journalistic truth and accuracy.
