Thom Hartmann: Republican at the polls are not voting for candidates



Republican voters hit the polls down South for another round of primaries today. Only - they aren't voting for candidates. I'll tell you who they're REALLY voting for - and what it means for our Democracy.

I think the Republican majority on SCOTUS realized that Republicans couldn't compete with Democratic small donors and capped maximums...so they decided that corporations could open their treasuries and more than fill the void. We are losing our democracy and it will be the bottom 90%, regardless of Party affiliation, who will reap the results. When legislators are insulated from the effects of their legislation because they are fully funded by corporations and wealthy investors - they really don't have to worry about fundraising and relying on the 90% to support their re-elections. That and election rigging are allowing Republicans to carry out their anti-American agenda. I wonder when the teabaggers and the typical Republican voter will figure this out?
