Is Prosecution in Kelly Thomas Beating Case Purposely Losing? Watch and Judge Yourself...

Leo Terrell has been following the Kelly Thomas Murder Trial from the very first day and he has been in court, following the court proceedings as they have unfolded. From everything I hear, it sounds like the DA. who is supposed to be defending Kelly Thomas in court against the officers that leveled the beating that killed him, is purposely throwing the case... it sounds like in my opinion that he has political ambitions in ultra-conservative Orange County and wants to play both sides of the deck. Instead of putting skilled criminal examiners in the court room for cross and re-direct to make the best case possible against the attacking officers, District Attorney Rackauckas is doing the 'honors' himself, although he has apparently NO skill in the courtroom and is not even able to frame questions properly.

Leo Terrell is a well-known civil rights attorney and from the sound of it, he is as frustrated as the family of Kelly Thomas must be at the lack of skill level being demonstrated by D.A. Tony Rackauckas in the courtroom. One review of the many videos by Terrell indicate that what is going on in court is losing the case for Kelly Thomas' family -- in their attempt to find justice for Kelly's beating and death at the hands of Fullerton Police officers.

For the defense to claim, as Terrell notes in the video, that Kelly Thomas did not die of his injuries, did not die from being bludgeoned to the head, and did not die from massive loss of blood, but somehow died of 'other' causes makes you want to reach into the screen and shake that courthouse behind him to wake someone there up. Anyone!!!

If you have been following the Kelly Thomas case you have to ask if it was any accident that they wanted to run this case DURING the holiday season, while no one is paying attention... when everyone is busy and when murder cases don't win coveted air-time in the news.... when the LEAST amount of damage to political careers can be expected... all in the name of self-preservation of the Fullerton establishment. The status quo.

I am ashamed of DA Rackauckas for apparently pretending to be proficient in the court and indicating he would be able to handle the case himself. He sounds like a second-rate failure who doesn't know enough to get help when they can't do the job properly themselves. Sounds like someone who simply wants to brush this Kelly Thomas killing under the carpet as soon as possible and get on with the next phase of his career. I have no idea what that might be but I can surely guess. Politics? It sounds obvious to me if you have been following the case and heard from those who have been in court listening to the testimony that the simple act of even framing a question in court is out of reach of the DA's skill level.

Justice needs to have a defender of its cause. Not an amateur who appears to have their own agenda.

Shame on you Orange County DA's Office and DA Rackauckas. If you can't do the job yourself, and make a decent case against the officers Manuel Ramos and Jay Cicinelli, ESPECIALLY in light of the explicit, violent video, for god sakes find someone who can.

Posting video below. Does it look like Kelly Thomas died of 'other injuries' not inflicted by the officers?

when all they can expect is a beating? Why should our "adversaries," surrender to the soldiers when all they can expect is torture? These policies are making it super difficult for good police and soldiers to do their jobs. No wonder the suicide rate is off the hook.
