(27,137 posts)...and still are going on in China all seem to have to do with money. Who's getting it and who's not. Corruption is a way of life that has been easily incorporated into the communist model because it is cultural. But then so is the corruption here. We're just more sophisticated and less obvious about it. Well, the ''good'' ones always were.
- Now that the question as to who owns the US government is without question, they don't have to be as circumspect.

I think you have at least a 2% higher chance of getting you money back for your property in the US

(27,137 posts)...his interviews were arranged by the Communist Party. They're obviously trying to leave us Westerners with the impression that Chinese farmers have it so good, they can shoot pool all day and still bring in the harvest!

(5,214 posts)And if they 'lose' say 10% of that to building empty cities but also spend say the same amount on projects that work NOW they will have advanced China's population immeasurably.
Even the empty cities will not decay to the point of inhabitablilty before the 400 million mentioned come to these, and other, cities.
