Brit Hume: Chris Christie is 'Masculine and Muscular' & Being Held Back by 'Feminized Society'

Last edited Mon Jan 13, 2014, 06:27 PM - Edit history (8)

GAGGGGGG!!!!!

Oh Brit Hume has his ignorant days, and he has his stupid days, and yes, he even has his low-brow days. But today he lays waste to his normal ignorance with statements so stupid, so blatantly lost in time, that he gives new meaning to the term 'idiot'.

*** UPDATE **** Several video accounts on YouTube have already been pulled (I have replaced original video above which works for now) but as a fall-back, you can catch the clip at Mediaite by clicking here instead.

from video description:

Brit Hume has himself a theory about why New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's got this nagging "bully" reputation hanging round his neck: it's not his fault, see, he's just a bull in the emasculated china shop of the world.

"In this sort of feminized atmosphere in which we exist today, guys who are masculine and muscular like that in their private conduct, kind of old-fashioned tough guys, run some risks," Hume said on Sunday's Media Buzz.

Even co-host Lauren Ashburn was a bit taken aback by that. "Feminized?" she asked.

"Atmosphere," Hume specified. "Men today have learned the lesson the hard way that if you act like kind of an old-fashioned guy's guy, you're in constant danger of slipping out and saying something that's going to get you in trouble and make you look like a sexist or make you look like you seem thuggish or whatever. That's the atmosphere in which he operates. This guy is very much an old-fashioned masculine, muscular guy, and there are political risks associated with that. Maybe it shouldn't be, but that's how it is."

*** UPDATE **** Video can also be found on Mediate, by clicking here instead.

___________

Oh FoxNews -- you have cultivated such a grand garden of ignorance, you shall reap so great a harvest of stupidity in the world that even the loons in the sky will be crying out... 'Wackadoooo... wackadoooo.... '

I guess compared to the giggly-smiling Bobby, he's a real man's man. Too bad for the GOP that over half the electorate are women! bwahahahahahah

Talk about a weak bench in the GOP this election cycle. They are a car of clowns, each vying for the chance to trip and fall into a heaping cream pie before an audience of ignorant FoxNews voters. If they had one thing in common I'd say it was the complete IN-ability to lead this country.

Guess that FoxNews DNA is slowly starting to creep into the bodies of every GOP'er out there.

First, it's not just Brit Hume: so many examples of cowardice and fear are scorned as "girly" in society. If this stereotype was racial instead of gender based, there'd be such a hue and cry we would've stopped it a long time ago. But Britty actually can get away with implying that women are chicken shits and men who act like them are sex-traitors because there's a level of social approval that it's okay. How many times have you heard a guy get called "Pussy" when it's perceived he's not being brave enough? Maybe that's the first issue we should be addressing.

And then from the not-so-sublime to the completely ridiculous: Brit actually says Christie is MUSCULAR? He says this is a man's man? Well, then I want to see him take me. I'm 6'1", a cyclist, a runner, a lifter--and a chick. Let me throw down with Christie and we'll see who emerges victorious!

(please don't go for the low-hanging fruit...it was hard for me, but I'm attempting to resist the concept of Christie winning a fight by pinning me down. Marquess of Queensbury rules only!)

epically if it is unconscious, and un-reflected-upon, is why some men seem to believe that personal romantic intimacy must involve punches to the head. Let me put this a more succinct way:

I have a daughter, Fuck Brit Hume.

The first is something we can outgrow as a culture; the second, i think, might require a return to hangings or somesuch.

the hypocrisy of some of these people on the right is astonishing. its like they believe they have the right to say nd make up anything. what does a governor of a state that screams down people or carry out vendettas against his opponents, and the public, have to do with personal behavior? now if some other minority say like a black guy in office behaves like that, they start screaming 'thug' and 'gangster' . they have done it with obama many times when he shows even slightest bit of emotions that he's peeved about something....jeeez!!

distressed loans and other "alternative" type securities and investment and a hedge fund sponsor. She's supposedly active in their Catholic church's many activities and in community services and charities. In other words, she's burning several candles at both ends. She's a Barbara Bush protégée, who has received phone calls and encouragement from the former First Lady who told her, after Mrs. Christie expressed doubts if she'd be able to handle the job of First Lady, that she'd be an excellent one. Which begs the question, if Jeb Bush wants to be president in 2016, why is Babs egging on Mary Pat to encourage Christie to run? Barbara Bush made the news not too long ago when she said she didn't want Jeb to run. Who knows with that toxic family? That whole bunch is so Machiavellian, you have to dissect everything they say.

Brit Hume's stuck-on-rage persona emerged following the suicide of his son, Sandy, who was allegedly distraught over the drubbing his putative lover, Bill Paxon, was receiving in his bid to unseat Newt Gingrich.

This has been a sixteen-year war that Brit's internalized in the most regrettable fashion. Rather than grieving and acceptance he's opted to lash out at the society he perceives created his flawed progeny.

Were he not such a bitter, despicable human one might feel a bit of pity.
