Papantonio: Radio Cuckoo Land Goes After Christie

Right wing hate talkers have decided that Chris Christie’s bully-style of politics has gotten out of control, and now heavy-hitters like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are turning on their former favorite GOP governor. Mike Papantonio appears on The Ed Show alongside talk radio consultant Holland Cooke to talk about the fall of Christie.

and they are just getting out in front of the story so they look good.

I didn't hear Pap's spot on the Ed Show - nor did I listen to the clip. I was flipping channels around the time just before Crispy's SOS Speech and I hit Fox News. I was surprised that the guy that they had on was going through the timeline of the Crispy GWB scandal and he did a pretty good job of describing it. The Fox News host - I don't know any of their names - didn't seem like he was protecting Crispy either. I was surprised. Now I read this OP and hear that RW radio is turning on Crispy. The only conclusion I can come to is that they know that Crispy knew and that Crispy is toast. They are just getting out in front of the story so that they don't look like complete idiots for sticking up for this guy - when the true facts come out.

That's my interpretation of this.

Hate radio represents the hard line reactionary activists, Fox "News" represents the Republican party establishment.

Hate Radio sees a chance to off Christie to clear the path for a Ted Cruz type.
