Solar, wind, and tidal are the future. All of them make sense environmentally and they all decentralize the power grid, which is why anyone concerned about terrorism should also support them.

(12,121 posts)3. K&R. Had no idea there were so many spills and fatalities here in the USA. Enough is enough.
Should be a moratorium on fracking until we learn to stop spilling and wasting the easier-to-reach oil. If Big Oil won't spend billions on eliminating spills, they shouldn't be allowed to proceed with any more drilling.
We need a full on Apollo Project for Green Energy. Hundreds of thousands of jobs and truly democratic energy independence!
