Papantonio: Why The 1% Always Wins

This segment originally aired on the February 16th, 2014 episode of Ring of Fire on Free Speech TV. In America today, it seems like you just can’t beat the one percent. Our political infrastructure has been rigged in their favor, along with our legal system, and no matter what the issue is, they always seem to come out on top thanks in part to corporate globalization. Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio explains why this happens with Michael Lind, co-founder of the New America Foundation.

1% of anything is a lot easier to organize than the other 99%. When the other 99% show any signs of organizing the 1% always give up because they understand the odds won't be in their favor.

The last time this happened in the USA was in the 1930's when a sizable number of people joined together to push the New Deal Agenda.

That's all that needs to happen today, except that most people have been so misled by the MSM they don't know where to turn. When they turn to the existing power structure, they will only find division.
If they decide to turn to one another and find power that way, resistance collapses the to the popular will.
