Thom Hartmann: The Banksters got Bailed out - now it's time for Students!

Congressman Hansen Clarke (D-MI, 13th District) joins Thom Hartmann. Students go to college to get the education needed for a long and prosperous career. The only problem is - the jobs aren't there. How are young college grads suffering from coast to coast - and what is one Member of Congress doing to give them some much needed help? Four years ago the banks got bailed out - now it’s time for America's students to get the help they need.

Since the student is now taking the brunt of the cost of an education, and there is not enough help to go around, it would be a good thing to do. These are the people who will do the thing the country needs to have done; keeping them in poverty is just stupid.

When I was going to college back in the 60's, you could just about pay your tuition out-of -pocket.

As it stands now, only the elite can afford to go to college, which is exactly the plan, IMO.
