LeBron James and the Miami Heat tweet photo in support of Trayvon Martin - pic

A short while ago, LeBron James tweeted this photo of him and his Miami Heat teammates wearing hoodies in solidarity with Trayvon Martin’s family and friends.

According to the Palm Beach Post‘s Heat Zone, James is the one who organized the photo and made it happen.

It's time this nation came together to put a STOP to racism, or even a thought that it might be acceptable in any way, or under any circumstances. It's not.

A guy shooting his mouth off with prejudice is a racist, that same guy with a gun is a murderer.

After hearing Geraldo Rivera suggest that Trayvon Martin may have survived if he hadnt been wearing a "Hoodie", I was so angry.....it reminded me of when its suggested that a woman got raped or was "Asking for it" by wearing something short or revealing like a mini-skirt or low-cut top.

I say we all start wearing hoodies....I hope Tory Butch, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, etc...all srat having hoodies in their lines and big stars and people everywhere start wearing hoodies.

Hoodies....the new black....

But he seriously bungled the PR angle of the move to Miami. It was way too long and drawn out and culminated in a ridiculous primetime 'reveal,' where his 'take my talents to South Beach' comment seemed arrogant and stupid.

That was not classy. Other than that, He seems like a good guy. We all make mistakes, of course.
