Too Close: Men Keep Taping Twister As it Tears By Them

*WARNING: the video above contains graphic language*

Some people in North Dakota got dangerously close to a tornado on Monday.

Instead of seeking shelter, like you should do during a tornado warning, they kept recording as it tore right past them; then they posted the video on YouTube.

Several people were injured in the wicked weather and it damaged an oil field man camp in Watford City.

The damage is still being surveyed.

I'd feel safer hunkering down in a ditch.

One of the best places to die is in a vehicle. People don't get killed by the winds, they get killed by all the 100+ MPH junk the wind picks up, something being in the bottom of a ditch offers protection against.

These guys are lucky to be alive, they broke all the rules. But yes, some of the footage is incredible.

I live in the region and am glad I'm far enough away to not be within a close enough proximity to have to encounter them. Those idiots are also likely on drugs. In the man camps, life is cheap.

To be so stupid as to not know when one should duck & cover or run...A completely stress free life, probably short life.
