(205,731 posts)I've been to Dog Beach in Southern California, saw all sorts of dogs. The labs were having a great time body surfing for frisbees while the bulldog I saw was happily sitting on the beach and the Yorkie was covered with sand and looked miserable.

When, as a puppy, she first saw me taking a bath, in she hopped in a blink. The only doggie we've ever had that when the question "do you wanna take a bath?" was proposed, it was greeted by smiles, enthusiastic tail tags, & a beeline dash to the bathroom. She'd be in the tub before I got there.
