To me, calling the Republicans socialists is a little like hinting that some Republican members of Congress are gay. The suggestion is that this is something you don't want to be.

I think that's a mistake, but maybe not on a network owned by Comcast.

As Americans, we should be proud of our publicly funded programs and institutions.

5. I don't think socialism is bad, and I don't think Fugelsang is saying that socialism is bad. BUT

The GOP is always bewailing socialism like it is a VERY BAD thing. It just points out their hypocrisy: socialism is good when it is for them (they just call it something else) but bad for the rest of us.

The GOP has been demonizing the words liberal and socialism. And as we know they mean, humane caring ways to run a just fair and compassionate society.

To use the word as an insult to republicans is stupid. We should be embracing those words and endlessly repeat to the MSM morons what they "really"mean.

was just find when it worked for them and oh do they get pissed when I call them on it. They were just fine with illegal immigrants up until 2008 when some nut called John McCain changed their direction. up until 2008 it was not a party issue. Still isn't to me. I haven't changed. But repukes they have no principles to stand on anymore. including on abortion. oh it's fine to make money off abortion but they ain't paying for it..
