British MP George Galloway lets loose at the I/P Conflict in Gaza. He doesn't leave a stone unturned and he get's into issues that many of us might feel uncomfortable about in History...but he Does do History...and his Q&A at the End....is even more worth a listen to take the time to go through the whole thing. He speaks about his presence on TWITTER and how hard it is to deal with the Disinfomationists he encounters...but, how important it is to counter on Social Media. He goes into how times have changed with World perceptions about Israel since the 60's and 70's and why that is important going forward.
At the end in the "Q&A" he is Very Complimentary to Obama and Kerry. He recites quotes from both about their meetings with "Bibi" Netenyahu and that's QUITE revealing.
It is a LONG WATCH ....so doing it in segments is good thing but I'd start (if time challenged) about 1/3rd of the way in and go through the Q&A.
He makes some really interesting points we don't here in US Media and he Skewers BBC for not reporting the truth along the way there.
He's truly an explosive watch because he's such an incredibly gifted speaker.

Galloway has attracted criticism from both the Left and the Right for his comments relating to the government in Iran, and his work for the state-run satellite television channel, Press TV. (See Programmes on Press TV below.)
Galloway asserted on The Wright Stuff chat show (13 March 2008) that the executed boyfriend of homosexual Iranian asylum seeker Mehdi Kazemi was executed for sex crimes rather than for being homosexual. Galloway also stated on The Wright Stuff that the case of gay rights in Iran was being used by supporters of a war with Iran.[141]
Scott Long, writing in The Guardian on 31 March, criticised Galloway's claim that "homosexuals are not executed in Iran, just rapists", pointing out that current law in the country stipulates that "Penetrative sex acts between men can bring death on the first conviction".[142] Long-time gay rights activist Peter Tatchell, writing in The Guardian on 26 March, accused Galloway of spouting "Iranian Propaganda", continuing: "His claim that lesbian and gay people are not at risk of execution in Iran is refuted by every reputable human rights organisation, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission and the International Lesbian and Gay Association."[1
He spouts anti gay propaganda of the Iranian regime. Nothing he says should be taken seriously.

(84,711 posts)our President Obama who wanted to Unite us and NOT Divide Us.
That's why he's worth the watch and the listen.
We have many political characters here and abroad who seem to redeem themselves...(the support for Bill Clinton amongst Dems and Republicans comes to mind, here).
So...take off your blinders and give it a listen or just use "Trash Thread" if it annoys you so much. It's an excellent watch no matter what side one sits on.

(84,711 posts)another time he's Speaking Out...and just as back then...he's worth a listen to. Few are willing to speak out in these times. He lets it RIP in this one.
And...yes...I know he has some stuff in his background...but, after all these years I wonder if he wasn't attacked because he was a "Truth Teller" and we can see how the MSM has distorted and it's getting worse, through the years, rather than better when he first spoke out. So, it's possible the stories about him that turned some off personally were not, in fact, even true as they were portrayed. But smears as the Globalists do to all who confront them on their manipulation.
Thanks for post that there were a few things you thought worthwhile about what he had to say, though. Hopefully others will be as fair/open minded as you are.

(4,533 posts)Isaac Newton believed some really stupid things but on other topics what he said was valuable. Possibly the greatest genius since Newton was Kurt Godel. But he was convinced people were trying to poison him so when his wife could not prepare his food, due to her illness, he stopped eating and starved to death.
Galloway is to politics as Newton and Godel were to math, physics and philosophy.

(864 posts)I had the rare opportunity to hear George Galloway give a talk in the evening of one of the large antiwar rallies in Washington DC against the Iraq War a few years ago. His oratorical skills and the incredible body of knowledge he brings to the discussion is unparallelled. His talk is 90 minutes. Many people would benefit from spending 90 minutes of their time listening to this video.
