(16,296 posts)there wasn't a group of those gun-toting citizen border patrols there to greet him. However, I do believe James would avoid those guys anyway. Still it would have been interesting to watch.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but James was in Mexico, then crossed over to the US. Did he break some sort of law there on the video? He was in Mexico illegally.
Next, James dresses as ISIS militant to show Obama isn't really interested in killing him.

(19,348 posts)Second: The border patrol would be in the right to arrest O'Keefe since he is crossing the border illegally.

(203 posts)I always like to pull this gem out of the bag of tricks...the border line between the Netherlands and Belgium...to show other nations are not as anxiety ridden as the United States about other people...
Of course there are always issues with borders...will forever...unless we wall ourselves in...while trying to wall others out. The point is to work through those issues...not become an isolationist society. That was not what America was in the past and shouldn't be now...otherwise even Mr. O'Keefe would be doing his little reports from the moors.

(7,813 posts)Like they did at Gawker. If he crossed at a point 6 miles from I-10, he would be in Fort Hancock. It took a lot of fancy camera work to keep the signs of habitation and civilization out of the frame. But maybe it isn't so hard - there are miles and miles of waterless desert and hills between the border and I-10. I wonder how long it took O'Keeffe to walk that distance without water? I'm sure he did. And there ARE border patrol agents all over the place. Sheriff West must have told them to stay out of the picture.
Another blatant lie by O'Keeffe. Is anyone surprised?
