It scares the shit out of me. But I do trust our Secret Service. They have done a great job these past 3.5 years.

16. I remember feeling so afraid for this President’s safety during the 2008 campaign,

especially when reports came out that threats of assassination had jumped some 400% and that was after they asked Sarah Palin to stop her “paling around with terrorist” rhetoric on the campaign trail. But the Secret Service has done an outstanding job, especially with the historic level of deranged and unstable right-wing tea-baggers clinging to their guns.

I plan to send a thank you note to the Secret Service, and I encourage everyone to do the same… let them know that we appreciate all that they have had to do over these last few years, and moving forward through Obama’s second term.
