They are trapped in what I used to call "Being On The Madonna Express" (to oblivion), and what I now call "Topping The Meat Dress" (that Lady Gagup wore to an awards ceremony) because their survival depends more on evolving their visual style than their artistic substance. They once showed up at an awards show dressed in camouflage from head to toe -- including their faces. Yet, I can't find where they've sold more than 200,000 of their albums at one time even with all their tens of millions of YouTube views -- I daresay that their real money is coming in from the online ad revenues.
