No we do not. The fate of that right was sealed with the selection of Reagan, GHW Bush & GW Bush. misterhighwasted Aug 2014 #1
Yeah, I post this elsewhere. BUT it should never, ever be taken as an argument against voting. ancianita Aug 2014 #2

That American right had been chipped away at for years, but, I believe took a deep hold with GW's selection, gerrymandering, & deregulation as well as the civil rights stripping, "Patriot Act".

Supreme Court appts set up the play & GW Bush went in for the final shot.

Beginning with the shady dealings of Prescott Bush, the Cheney/Bush association with the CIA dating back to the days of JFK to the phoney Iraq invasion, all lent a certain hand in where our Nation stands today.

They appointed themselves Kings of America from day one & their grand scheme is still in play today.

The citizens of America are a benefit only for what they can pillage from us. They are a traitorous tribe, a mofia family that operates globally & associates only with those who will bargain & deal for profit & power.
They will save themselves long before consideration of any man & beast on this planet.

We have been stripped of our wealth, our dignity, & our rights as citizens to hold them accountable.

Those who hold court in their elite circle are the only winners in their game.

Watch for Jeb to emerge in the final hours of the 2016 race. The mofia has a bit more work to do before they change this country forever. Supreme Court appointees, for starters.

Circlethesquare, You are correct.

Voting inherently has an impact on the message sent by voters about their interests.
