2. I just find that hard to believe`

I was in the military 24 years and we get a food allowance every month. Plus the galley is cheap to eat in even for families. I do know that some of the Sailors I had drove much better cars then I did and also had the latest electronics gadgets. Of course giving a 1 percent raise every year has hurt the last six years.
