newspaper posted this story last nite...

had interviews with people who said they were there simply because 'its fun' and that they hoped they had it every year..
also, it was to raise money for the farmers who had been hurt by sanctions.

I think it was less protesting sanctions, more having fun and helping their farmers.

but hey, don't let me stand in the way of how folks are going to frame it

And weren't they protesting Russia's return sanctions? That is what I thought when I saw it.

I posted it because I thought it was a very imaginative protest venue.

I love to watch people making total fools out of themselves and enjoying it for a good cause. It was a fund-raiser. Are we against fund-raisers for good causes now? Lighten up, people! And it was a Dutch protest against austerity measures in their country. Thanks for uploading it, newthinking.
