enough voters finally have realized that.

Sadly, there are tons of Koch money and the like flying around. What kind of democracy do we have. People buy elections, that is no democracy. Each day the US democracy fails more and more with bribery. We are really in quite dangerous times in this country for the survival of any hint of a democracy.

I still think many Americans are asleep at the wheel, they just don't get what is going on and let politicians control them and to push their hot buttons so they vote illogically.

7. Not 'buying elections.' Buying media time, the message. The voters fall for it. Not classic bribery,

unless one calls television advertising time bribery. I think its not even the ads, although in the weeks before the election, that is significant. It's the year round script that sets the atmosphere for voters to either work for the GOP or if not GOP, stay home. Elections are not just at the time we vote. The GOP runs a permanent campaign that never ends. It's a lot easier for them to do that daily, taking long vacations from Congress, doing their brainstorming at private venues, while the Democrats are busy trying to make things work so they don't have the time to campaign all year long. It's the main difference between the two parties, one is up there doing their job for the people the other is taking time off to do their job for the plutocrats. In neither case is it bribery as favors granted to people doing their job. It's an entirely different way of life at odds with each other, as the GOP represent private interests in all things as they work to hand all government functions over to them.

politics. That, is what elections have become in the US, who can throw the most money at elections. To me, it is undermining the entire democracy, that is, what's left of it. How will that be accomplished ... Voters fall hook, line and sinker for these ridiculous brainwashing ads. Hence, they vote for those having thrown the most money at them for ads, not on which candidate is presenting the best policies for the country and for them. And Citizens United, what an undermining decision that was of a democracy. Some days, I feel like just shaking my head and walking away from the entire mess ... but, that is what the oligarchs want, so I stay.
