CNN's Dana Bash to Boehner, how do you expect Obama to trust you?

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/cnns-bash-to-boehner-how-do-you-expect-obama-to-trust-you/

“How do you expect the president to trust that you really want to work together, when out of the gate you say you want to repeal his signature law that you know has no chance of getting a veto-proof majority? How do you expect him to trust you?”

Boehner argued, “My job’s not to get along with the president just to get along with him… my job is to listen to my members and the American people and make their priorities our priorities.”

OK, I rarely do this, but for the next two years, I'm going to sign every petition against Boner and McTurtle, send emails asking why/when/how they are going to carry out each stupid bill they come up with, put the pressure on until McTurtle can't take the pressure anymore and Boner the Duke of Orange hits the bottle so much, they can't get him up from under the table to lead. Since neither has worked for the last 6 years, why start now?

So better got used to it, because this is likely the BEST that it's going to be, and yes Ladies and Gentleman, it CAN get worse (see: Impeachment)

Mr Speaker up there doesn't have the first damned clue how to do his job right now. KNOWS he is expected to not sit around on his ass for the next 24 months, but doesn't have the balls to actually Lead (meaning to tell the Loons in his Chamber to act like adults.)

Even if he WANTED to sit down with the Pres. and Democratic Leaders, what could they possibly agree on that could pass BOTH the House AND the Senate, what with the aforementioned loons occupying majorities in both chambers?

John is not a man I envy for the next 20 months or so. That much is certain.

since they know they can't convict in the Senate and could very well spark a backlash, as they did with Clinton...but then, their voters are stupid, even if the congresscritters and leadership are not. Maybe it would be best to let them go ahead and try, and repeal Obamacare again too: they might be too busy to do a lot of more destructive things.

Who in the hell are his "members?" NM we know.

The American people do not want healthcare? WOW!

I know, he is going to actually listen to the people and we'll get health care for all, no insurance companies....right.

Unless of course you count the Koch brother. Those are some American people he listens to. Those of us that work for a living are shit out of luck. Any satisfaction we may get is purely coincidental.

I guess it all depends which assholes you listen to. This is one American that don't know what he would do WITHOUT the ACA. Its the SOS with the GOP. I expect them to fail miserably in the next 2 years and hand us another presidency. If you check that stats of election day, 52% of lower income families, which benefit the most from the ACA, never voted. If you notice in a separate post about the stats, 1/3 of the US voted, and 75% of the third were upper class, older, white people. How is that the majority of all the people? They Lie, Lie, Lie. Again, SOS. I can't stomach these lying assholes.

"Obamacare" coming out of his mouth is essentially a slur.

He knows a lot of Americans are misinformed about Obamacare (they no likey) vs the Affordable Care Act (who could have a problem with that?) when it it the SAME DOGGONE THING.

Look at Kentucky. Mitch McConnell said he could wipe out "Obamacare" but let them keep their Kynect Health Care Site. That would be like saying Apple is shutting down its business forever today, but you can keep the Siri on your iPhone.

I fraking hate the term "Obamacare" as much as I hate the terms "Democrat Party", "Warrantless Wiretap", and "Harsh Interrogation".

Keeping the law wasn't the priority of the American people. Only now, since the few that voted picked Republicans, is it their priority.

...which was a Heritage Foundation/GOP counter to Single Payer/Public Option Healthcare.
It is also just about the only decent/successful proposal I've heard from Republicans since Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

I'm just waiting for the GOP to pivot, start calling Obamacare "The ACA", and then start taking all the credit for creating it.
