The Electronic Voting Madness The MSM Didn’t Report On

Published on Nov 11, 2014

Brad Freidman, The Brad Blog, joins Thom Hartmann. New reports suggest that there were widespread voting irregularities on election day. So - isn't it time for us to say goodbye to this electronic voting madness once and for all?

2. Question: Why are Dems so acquiescent and obtuse on this issue?

Answer: Because they do not want to appear to be a "conspiracy nut-job".

3. Tried to work with them. They cannot believe it or it makes their ground game 'moot'.

They won't fight the fight where it needs to be fought. I've been told.

"If I listen to you, then I cannot go in there (the county parties) and to my work."

The work has changed. It's ugly. Florida is still in need of a fix. They have an inadequate audit system of 1-2% of paper ballots against the electronic totals. The audit is a sham.

All over the U.S., we are still in need of Rep. Rush Holt's NJ (DEM) bill HR811. Another long push that was interrupted when Florida returned to a paper ballot system for the entire state. (while gutting the state statutes on the counting of the paper)

7. They think that pointing out (or trying to fix) the problems will keep voters from the polls.

Does it make sense? Not particularly, but it's the received wisdom of party honchos. I think it's also the reason behind the oddball excuses you're describing. I worked full time on this issue for almost 4 years, and frequently lobbied Congress in DC, so I know whereof I speak (or in this case, post).

We actually had the votes in the House for Representative Holt's bill until Hoyer f**ed it up so badly that all the grassroots groups were forced to drop their support.

Which is generally is backed-up with the proverbial "stick" if
anyone has audacity to "backslide" , (see JFK, RFK, MLK,

It's been proven it isn't hard at all to change the voting, and the cover for no big rush to investigate thoroughly is oh, it's just these conspiracy nuts.

So far it's mostly worked - despite things formerly thought kooky conspiracy theory have been found to be true. - as in the US giving diseases to minorities for testing purposes post WWII.

I worked in the 2004 election process and I firmly believe the presidential vote was flipped. Just like once the film of it was finally released, and I looked harder at it, I knew in my mind that there is much more to the JFK hit than LHO, Oswald being the only lone nut assassin I know of who denied doing it and even said he was a patsy - before he was snuffed right in the police garage. Nothing fishy there.

Obtuse about this Situation, considering it to be a non-issue? (Or so they say with their lying cheating mouths.)

We need to start realizing that many "Democratic Leaders" are more concerned about their political dynasty in the making, and their bank acounts, than garnering a win for the Democratic Party.

We Voting Activists have been trying to tell people like Di Feisntein for ages (Since at least Autumn 2004) that the nation as a whole is in big trouble with regards to the Electronic Machinery, and also the corruption apparent in so many County Registrar of Voters' fiefdoms. All our efforts are to no avail.

I keep wanting to know exactly WHAT Sen Di Fi obtained for herself and her lil Richie Pootums, when she deliberately handed over the California governorship to Ahnold, not once but twice!

I have a comp sci degree and have worked in the field for 30 years. I have to vote on these damn things and I have no way of knowing what is actually being recorded when I press those buttons, and I know of no way to change that.

People say, "oh but you trust ATMs and paying bills on the internet", but it's apples and oranges. Voting is anonymous. With ATMs and internet payments you can check your account balance. You can't do that with voting.

So, to answer the OP's question. Yes, it's time to abandon it. It's WAY past time.

Every two years the same thing, only it seems to get worse.
And every two years the Dems ignore it and call anyone who does not a CTer....then we repeat it next election.

The party leadership is not interested in fixing this...and that should tell us something.

is easy when the malfeasance and misappropriation is so egregious. I realized on election night that a major election fraud had probably been perpetrated in more than one State. It occurred to me while watching the MSNBC election team's election night reporting, where Steve Kornacki compared pre-election polling to the actual election results in several "Battleground" States and some non-Battleground state races. In almost every race the MSM had labeled too close to call based on the average of the pre-elections polls - at the end of the day the Republican candidate won by wide margins, typically in the 7-16 point range.

It seems more than odd to me that the margins of victory would have been so large across multiple states, and that the pre-election polling was so off! While it may be an election anomaly and the Republican wave was just building over the weekend prior to 11/4, it is something that experts and legal minds need to look at closely. If there was any fraud - the word needs to get out ASAP!

It wouldn't be the first time election fraud has occurred and certainly not the first time the Republican Party has used illegal means to secure election victories. From beginning to end - Republican election officials have worked hard to drive down voter registrations, limit the numbers of voters who will actually go to the polls, and minimize the amount of time and venues available to voters on or before election day. Republican officials and their supporter's taking a huge step into blatantly illegal election fraud activities is not something that would surprise many of us at this point!! They did it in 2000 and 2004, maybe gave us a break in 2008 and 2012, and are back at it again in 2014! The question is what are we going to do about it? Will the Democrats continue to ignore it? I hope not!!
