She just made the same point, Democrats go around to give a "Politically Correct" answer and seem to be afraid of offending the offenders.

What is wrong with telling it like it is? This is so frustrating...

and went to an answer about substance.

Myers's question was a Chuck Todd type question, or something you'd read in "The Fix". It's about political strategy, it's about personalities. Some people like that stuff but to me, it's depressing, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Her answer reminds me of her statement after the election. I had been seriously bummed. Not just the awful results, but the analysis was so much nonsense, so completely irrelevant. But Warren's statement brought us back to reality. Same with her answer here, Seth Myers asks her "do you want to talk about irrelevant nonsense?" She answer, "no thanks!".

1. This is Seth Meyers show, not Meet the Press. An in depth answer would not have played well in this format.

2. She's asked a question that will inevitably lead to a conversation about which Democrat failed. Either the candidates were right to turn away from the President's "failed" policies, or they "failed" to support and clarify the President's successes. Either way, you'll end up talking about Dems failing. Is that what we want?

She answered like a pro - highlighting a policy that could have been campaign gold (the ACA), and then pivoting to talk about REPUBLICAN failures. She did exactly what she should have done.

Scary how quickly she learns, right?
