... for a number of significant reasons, the right does not want all kids educated well, just the kids of the wealthy.

(53,235 posts)made perfect sense, and Kennedy was coming out with the RW BS as expected, but does she have to shout like an asshole to make her case? Do people really watch her show?
Or is she really a CINO and making conservatives look like the assholes they are so they'll turn liberal?

She calls me "one of her lefty frenemies"

(53,661 posts)Even the title of the show is a swipe at the liberal Kenndy family, flat out. Most outrageous biased show... And neither guest was allowed air time to explain the cherry picking done by charters, millions wasted for corporate profits, etc. I don't know how you stand it, Steve. It's freaking insane. This is why Americans can't have a talk about anything anymore.

You are right. Public schools need more support. I attended public schools.
The teachers in our schools are the best trained in the world in my opinion. Our language is very difficult to learn. Our schools should be smaller with fewer children per class. That should be the rule in public schools. Charter schools are not the answer. The children who attend them come from committed families. That's the only reason that some of the schools are doing better. And I bet you that ten years from now the charter schools will not be performing better than the public schools. The teacher training is not as good.
