The annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) convention is in Washington D.C. this week. And, as expected, Jeb Bush has taken center stage. But there are growing concerns among conservatives that Jeb just isnt conservative enough, that hes too much of a political insider, and that hes part of the establishment.
Concerns like those pushed Jeb to proclaim last week that he is his own independent man. But is he really? Is Jeb Bush a fresh new Republican face, or just a carbon copy of his brother, with the same kind of ideas that will doom this country?
Americas Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, guess hosts RTs The Big Picture, and discusses this with Richard Eskow, senior fellow with the Campaign For Americas Future.

(13,877 posts)of this site so blind as to see that this seems like the Russian rogue version of Fox News...usually from the liberal US viewpoint. All US Liberal media outlets have gone missing. I, for one, enjoy the links I see on here that most often share my minority, Liberal viewpoint.
What a short seminar on Jeb for War President. Worth a watch.

(5,106 posts)Three generation of Bushes, including two brothers in the present one, and a fourth generation waiting in the wings IS a dynasty based mostly on name recognition and heavy money backing from their base "the haves and have mores," as Dubya admitted. A husband and wife president and first lady, (with impressive and real credentials of her own) are NOT a dynasty. Even the Kennedys were really less a dynasty than the Bushes, but accomplished far more in a necessary progressive sense, aided by a sometimes crass but truly impressive LBJ, (even though never a Kennedy #1 fan), than all the Bushes combined. LBJ, who started out as a teacher, when most politicians are lawyers, was not part of a dynasty, neither are either Clinton or, to be fair, was Richard Nixon. To anyone with a sense of history and without amnesia about the last few decades, it's time to retire the Bush family for good.

(13,877 posts)is unfit to govern any longer. Jeb has already Whooped Up his highly experienced War Council...he's ready to go get probably some small country dictator or President that Dissed his Daddy as a warm up practice war. Maybe check out how the shiny new weapons work.
Hillary may have voted how ... like it or not after 9/11...her constituents wanted her to vote... for the Iraq War. And she may have friends in high financial places, but her family...married or otherwise...has not forged their immense fortune making munitions to "kill their own". Bush munitions have been sold to both sides for decades, thus killing their own.
Strange that is the reason trotted out regularly to justify Regime Change or Rebel Support.
