Excellent detective work, Cenk! There's the smoking gun right there. Far from being simply the inept bungling of a freshman senator, this "Open Letter" has a more sinister motive to it. I always suspected that the GOP senators were in the pockets of the arms dealers, but here's the proof. I kind of wonder - why not tally up the money that each of the GOP senators who signed the letter gets from defense contractors and their lobbyists in Washington? The total sum might be a really huge figure, and there might be some of those senators who are even deeper into the pockets of the military industrial complex than Tommy boy, who is, after all, a Johnny come lately.
