Now for the reality, let's all fund us some contras and train some death squads.

But nice words, aren't they?

Ronald Reagan was the worker's nightmare, wherever he touched with his wars against the left. He knew no bounds in the depravities he ordered to be inflicted by alumni of the School of the Americas.

But he was a great actor/orator, given the right lines.

Reagan stated how important it was to keeping us free, and Scott Walker is taking away our freedom. So this Reagan clip is informative for those Reagan Democrats and those freedom loving Republicans. Reagan supported Unions.

In this clip he's opportunistically backpacking on the Polish uprising led by Lech Walesa, but that was in another country and hurt the Soviet Union. It had zero impact on workers in the USA.
He would not support a similar general_strike/uprising in the USA. Look at his actual record, ffs.

"Reagan Democrats" is an oxymoron, since Reagan was a Republican and an extreme right-wing Republican at that. Portraying Reagan as a working class hero by abstracting this phoney speech from the context of what he was doing overall to hurt the left not only in the USA but across the world, is abhorrent. It's a blatant lie. It only makes sense if it's your wish that the US public gets sucked even further into that vortex of lies and right-wing horror.

It's worth noting as well that this was footage from Reagan's 1980 campaign - and we all know what has happened to unions in this country since '80, largely thanks to St. Ronnie.

about freedom coming from those who were given a voice at work… Scott Walker does not think people should have freedom of speech at work. Free speech is only for those who donate to his campaign. Campaign donations are free speech and corporations are people….

& TPP will about finish the great American middle class now second for the first time behind Canada No. 1. Some of the many tragedies of 35 years of free market, trickle down, Reaganomics, Friedmanomics and now global neoliberal corporate rule.

This individual man and is policies, placed this country today into a third rate state from 38 years past to the present, and when unions gave there support to this individual and is philosophy they undermined every man, woman and child today and into the future, because the republican plan forward from those days are now in place at every level in the state and federal level of governing and the business plan from Wall Street.

Because of the support he got from some unions (which at that time represented 28% of the public) to win the election from Jimmy Carter based on lies, these unions are now crying wolf, because of the continued austerity program which was fomented by this right wing hypocrite and his supporters and of the mantra of trickle down economics or supply side economics and have been used by some in the third way mantra.

When he used "Solidary" as words to show his support for the Polish unions fighting a communist regime, this jerk stood on that platform and was talking out of both sides of his mouth, and today he has a airport named after him to represent his agenda, of creating this country into a third rate state, and the demise of bargaining with the 50+1 majority in the work place and at the ballot box in elections, look no further than the U.S. Supreme Court (Citizens United, stripping and gutting the Voting Rights Act and his appointments, one Anthony Scalia), which he brought forth from his agenda from California and damn near bankrupted the state and gutted public education and the two year free college program, and as one Eldridge Clever said about Reagan "he was a punk", which he was.

He (Reagan) used the very business model from one Lemuel Boulware, Ronald Reagans hero from his GE days and what he did you unions and the citizens of this country as then and to the now present format we have today and from the more extreme right wing party called the Republicans, Tea Party, Libertarian's, they have not, from Reagans time to the present offered any plan to move this country forward in a progressive manner, except attack the very fiber of representation in any form with hate and fear and undermining a present sitting president on foreign policy issues with Iran and other domestic issues.

Now in the present they have one Scott Walker who goes around and extols the virtues of this hero he loves, one Ronald Reagan but with a twist, he thinks unions and people who support unions of any strip are terrorists, and he (Walker) is proud of the fact that he cares nothing about the voter and the worker, just like Ronald Reagan, this present bunch called republicans have promised there millionaires and billionaire's whatever they can get for them to make the state into a fascist state for the oligarchy, look at Kansas, Michigan and other states, while at the same time using a base of voters to continue the attack of voter suppression, woman's right to privacy, public education, healthcare, wages ect.... with no back up plan to move forward-----none, except hate and fear.

And a media that has not removed individuals for lying about issues that were fabricated to continue the agenda of moving the media further to right to justify the means of hypocrisy, every Sunday the citizens of this country get to hear from the republicans on almost everything they are trying not to do for the country, and also attack a sitting president to continue the hate and fear mongering.

Ronald Reagan was traitor in my opinion because he was negotiating with a foreign government, Iran, while he had no official capacity as a government official when he was running for the presidency, while Jimmy Carter was negotiating with the Iranians.
Just like Richard Nixon did when Lyndon Baines Johnson was a sitting president

Today, while at the same time the public has not been told this fact whenever he (Reagan) pops on a news cycle, he is always shown as some great communicator, he embellished his life and his facts to suffice his deception of political greed, and today the citizens of this country are living with the more extreme of this deception and deceit.

when he threw an Apple core out the back of his limo on Hwy 50, then said It's organic! It's OK.

Ya know it was bad when he became the Governor of California, but the President? C'mon America.

Putting aside for a moment the fact that Reagan was a union buster as governor of California and then destroyed the airport controllers union as President. Why not use ammunition like this when you can?

Some great ad could be made by starting with this clip. Get the fox zombies glued to the screen, and end it with some facts about how the modern day GOP is eroding these rights, or even just end it with "brought to you by the Democratic Party"

You could do a series. Another one with Dwight Eisenhower and the dangers of war for wars sake.

Nixon on instituting government departments like the EPA and their importance, or the importance of wind and solar energy development.

For the life of me I don't understand why they don't do this.

We the progressive party need to remind all that Reagan and his agenda is a live and moving forward, and whenever he his brought forward the public should be reminded of this fact but we don't get this it the other side always the other side, he negotiated with a foreign power in no official a capacity he was an ordinary citizen and that is treason.
The progressive use to remind people of this through the Democratic Study Group, and now we have the Progressive Black Caucus for example and other progressive individuals, but when you have a media that is to the right on issues every night and day, then we as a society are in trouble because only one voice is being heard from the oligarchy, the solution in my opinion is then we need Free speech TV and Democracy Now on the local airwaves instead of the cable format, like Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy, Amy Goodman are examples of getting facts.
We need a channel that will confront the issues, just like we did during the Vietnam conflict
