This is one that just made my Blood Boil...
It happened just the other Day...
It not really about the Law here as Police destroy equipment and eat the evidence...
Its us against them... Just like all over America today...
Laws be damned...
What City has an Ordinance that allows Police to arrive in Felony Mode with Guns drawn??
It is the one they all use... Anything that Violates Local, State, or Federal Laws is a Violation of City Code..
This one thing covers the Cities Ass as they do what they do...
But how do they cover their Butts when they are caught on Camera violating the Laws they are sworn to uphold???

(16,068 posts)the callous attitude toward the lady in the wheelchair, the most striking thing to me was the way they entered the establishment.
Why was it necessary to crash through the doors?
Couldn't they have just turned the knob?

(10,497 posts)The business was open and operating and they knew it. They were acting more like a street gang from the old movie, "The Warriors." Intimidation, threats and then theft!
Probably a bogus raid on trumped up charges. They are mad that legalization means not as many busts ($$$), eventually not needing as many of them!
They have become gang members above the law.

(41,861 posts)and not paying for it. Do they think its just there for them to take? Apparently they are ABOVE THE LAW...destroying the cameras seemed like a thing a criminal would do to not get caught. I hope they are identified and made to pay for the stores items stolen, eaten, and for the broken items. Then fired.

(217 posts)but why was the shop raided? I read the article and found no reason for it. Aren't these dispensaries legal in CA?
