4. Farron's Commentary Might Have Been Just a Little too Vitriolic

And hot under the collar, but I believe that his basic thesis is pretty sound - let's face it - Obama loves to play both sides of the fence, not just on climate change, but on many other issues as well. Obama is basically a compromiser and mediator, and doesn't want to make anyone unhappy. His political style is to avoid conflict and confrontation if at all possible. But you gotta disappoint somebody if you're going to make real progress fighting climate change.
