I'm reminded of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. I think that's the kind of president he would make.
Of course he will need to be elected and there will need to be a major shift in the Congress from R to D. If the turnout is great and the votes are counted fairly, I think he will be able to do all he has said and more.

If the whole thing is signed as an agreement or as a contract, it's because it has a legal signatory by VOTE.
When persons run for office, they promise to do something for your vote.
When union contract promises are bent like a pretzel and by broken promises via Wall Street as to HOW those pension benefits will be treated as financial instruments, then Wall Street's PROMISE is broken.
No more broken promises is the message.
