Hourly Employees Are Getting Screwed Like Crazy

77%, according to a new report…that is how many San Diego restaurant workers have experienced wage theft over the past year - and a third said it happens regularly. Amazing, right?

More than three quarters of restaurant workers say their boss has stolen from them, and that's just in the past year. And as if that wasn't bad enough - almost a third of all workers polled said that wage theft was something that happened all to them all the time. How is this possible, and what can we do to stop it?

Ring of Fire's Mike Papantonio discusses this with attorney Brandon Bogle.

There all sorts of deceptions used to take from commission workers too. It's the nature of capitalism. The more of your time and labor they can get for free, the more money they make. Employers have built in incentives to cheat their employees. With deregulation theft of wages has become even more aggressive and obvious.
