4. To think that I almost moved to Vermont.

In 2007 my marriage was coming to an end, and I knew I did not want to remain in Kansas, where I'd lived since 1990. I made several scouting trips in various parts of the country, and the possibility of moving to Vermont was actually high on my list. In the end, I never made it there, and I moved to Santa Fe, which was an excellent choice for me

But to think, I might have moved to Vermont.
