(17,997 posts)I can't wait until he's in the White House. It will really help bring the people we need out to run for office. He gives us hope.
So even if we have two years of a Republican Congress, we'll have a democratic Congress by 2018.
Bernie welcomes the opposition's hatred. Campaign speeches are going to be easy for him, as he turns their vitriol around and defines their ideology with it. Nothing can intimidate him. Not one news station carried his speech. Does anyone know if C-Span was there? Eff the M$M. This revolutionary movement will not be televised. Go Bernie!

(23,156 posts)In 2007 my marriage was coming to an end, and I knew I did not want to remain in Kansas, where I'd lived since 1990. I made several scouting trips in various parts of the country, and the possibility of moving to Vermont was actually high on my list. In the end, I never made it there, and I moved to Santa Fe, which was an excellent choice for me
But to think, I might have moved to Vermont.

(69 posts)I guess Bernie is an extremist. But realty if you go back to time of FDR and Truman Bernie would have been considered you average Democrat. It wasn't until Ronnie Ray-Gun era that America became so ridiculously mortified of socialism!
