(231 posts)I usually catch Rachel but missed this. My reaction is pretty much the same as her's. Celebrate the rare glimpse of decent human impulses even (or maybe especially) when they come from people we wish had more of them.

(8,175 posts)That if we met the people in person, that we talk to on-line...we might actually like them a lot more than we think we would. That there is good in just about everyone (maybe not Hannibal Lector).
Maybe instead of mocking and laughing at people on our political opposite (even within the democratic party), we might try to accept that we have differences, and that's OK. Because we all have humanity and compassion too, and deserve to be treated with respect.
Just something to think about. This video puts a human face on Graham that I was blind to previously. But I have to tell you, I'm still baffled about the friendship between Ginsberg and Scalia.
