FWIW, I think that real humans are much tougher to blow apart than these dummies are. Not that I encourage fireworks usage.

Surely this must have been done by the middle school science kids. An actual federal agency would surely have had the good sense, ability and music accompaniment ability to have used Ballistics Gel that actually replicates impacts as would be seen/appear on human flesh (e.g. not eggs, not empty plastic gloves, or other cheap improbable substitutes).

the explosion was terrible. I was only young and I didn't want to go near any fireworks after that.
