The Greek Prime Minister has presented his latest case to the European Parliament. The MEPs spent around three hours debating the Greek debt crisis.

Watching the Greek debt crisis on CNN, I'm sure that I'm only getting one side of the story - the side of the creditors and the multinational corporations and their profiteers. I was watching some other video, perhaps Democracy Now - I believe it was Richard Wolf saying that Germany, in her stringent demands on Greece, was forgetting the incredibly generous terms on which she was loaned money by the US after WWII, which enabled the German economic miracle to happen. But, in an ironic denial of the economic Golden Rule, Germany is now denying Greece the same generous terms that she received after WWII had reduced her to shambles.
