LOL!! Of course you do. n/t Dawgs Jul 2015 #10
Yeah, I have this whole "need facts to back me up" thing. I can understand why you find that funny. stevenleser Jul 2015 #12
Huh? I didn't say anything about your "facts". n/t Dawgs Jul 2015 #13
Yes, by implication, you did. nt stevenleser Jul 2015 #14
Assume what you want, but I was laughing at you. Entirely predictable. n/t Dawgs Jul 2015 #15
I know. Because facts mean nothing to you. nt stevenleser Jul 2015 #17
That may be because Bernie is not a Democrat. nt SunSeeker Jul 2015 #18

The numbers favor the Democratic candidate, unless the candidate is so uninspiring that Dem voters sit on the hands, and GOP voters turn out in droves to vote against their second-most hated Democrat.

...but not the second.

I personally don't like her. A lot of people don't like her.

I know there are hundreds, probably thousands, of threads on DU where people state why they like her and why they do not. I've stayed out of the conversation and plan to continue to do so, it's an argument I don't care to have. I just don't care for her and can't get behind the "Anyone But Bush" logic about getting her in to keep the Republicans out.

It's going to be interesting because as much as they want one, the Republicans are going to have to go through yet another election cycle without a "Reaganesque" candidate. And since that whole vibe was "in the imagination of the imaginer" anyway (thank you , Frank Zappa), even Reagan himself wasn't "Reaganesque."

Anyway, that's it, I respectfully disagree.

......The GOP hasn't won an election fairly since Eisenhower. They've got something dirty up their sleeves for 2016, or at least, they will!

Add to that: A ton of money and Supreme Court decisions that let them spend it, and a compliant, paid-for media. Expect the media talking heads to start labeling Koch bros darling Scott Walker as: "The moderate in the race."

We should expect an uphill battle and be prepared to fight.

I agree that the dirty tricks will undermine our candidate and the media will start loving up Walker. They have so much experience at stealing elections with impunity. The Dems never fight back very hard, when they fight at all.
