which is why the left is denied access to broadcast news. Greedy rich men would never have been able to get so much richer so quickly had we been able to sound the alarm and had people fought this thing by calling their Congressweasels.

A hell of a lot of people saw it coming. Right wingers only saw the concentration of wealth away from labor. The only surprise they've had is that it didn't concentrate in their hands.

preaching anti-government bull because the verse that says "give onto Caesar what is Caesars" was seen as a verse that approved of government as a needed part of the world. It was understood that we (the human race) need to be governed, that is regulated.

Today we have all these Rs, bankers and their churches preaching the opposite. Drown the government in the bathtub. We do not need regulations - we need freedom.

Okay Rs, bankers and your churches since we do not need regulation then lets not just get rid of your ten commandments from the courthouse lawn where they never should have been in the first place- lets get rid of them completely.

We do not need regulations. All we need is freedom. But wait a minute. This group does not want to get rid of regulations for everyone just themselves. The rest of us NEED to be regulated. Greed is good - prosperity gospel has taken over their mindset and they have applied it to our economy. And our economy is not working. Freedom of greed is destroying our country and the stupid churches are preaching the new Word.

Common sense would tell us that regulation can and is needed for everyone. There is no economic group that can be exempt from some type of regulation and back in 1929 we saw the result of that. But those who began deregulating the whole system in 1980 did not remember it.

And it culminated in 1999 when they put all their trust in Wall Street and the bankers (the good people because God has made them rich). They might as well have told us that WS and the bankers were the twelve disciples coming to us with the new salvation message for today.

Sorry about the religious message - I am not trying to convert anyone - just realized one of the ways we got to the point that we are willing to let greed destroy us.

We need Glass-Steagell back because it is a very good regulation even today.
