God, they were great
A neighbor who knows I like everything Beatles gave me a book, which I read. I'd never head of it before "The Love You Make"
lots of stories from the insiders of the Beatles all those years.
Forever.

(15,139 posts)11 years old when the Beatles came on the scene in US. I was a 6th grader, and each and every Beatles' song brings back vivid memories of those middle and high school years. When I graduated from high school in 1970, the Beatles had just called it quits and the film "Let It Be" was playing. When my 22-year-old daughter asks what those days were like, all I can say is you had to be there.

(20,453 posts)I started asking questions, transitioning into that vast land of the late 60's to early 70's a la the Beatles.
I think your daughter's generation is more interested in that time than my step son in his mid 40's.

(1,325 posts)Never trust someone who says they don't like the Beatles. There is definitely something off in their moral compass.

(20,453 posts)Remember when George W Bush said he liked them until they "got weird"? Something like that.
