Do you have any thoughts on what is happening to our police? We seem to have an abundant supply of people ill suited to the job acting like rouges, with the support of their superiors and the courts.

Lawlessness in our police force does not a secure country make.

heading in that direction, especially for POC, the poor and disposse3ssed. And, ma'am/sir I've been watching the slide for a long, long time. It's a slow process, got to be, we wouldn't want the people to notice would we?

This story is from July 16, 2015...now it is getting some publicity..
Brunswick GA...population 15,000 (approx.) about 60 miles north of Jacksonville FL. Located on the Atlantic Ocean Coast
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Brunswick, GA — Caroline Small was at a low point in her life. She suffered from PTSD, Dissociative Disorder, and was struggling with drugs and alcohol. These things should have never been a death sentence, but thanks to two Georgia cops, they were.

An eye-opening investigation by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Channel 2 Action News was published earlier this month that shines a much-needed light on this case. The report illustrates the tragic events leading up to the killing of Caroline Small and the subsequent special privilege granted to the officers who killed her which would allow them to get off scot-free — and keep their jobs.

On June 18, 2010, Small was sitting in a mall parking lot in her car when a citizen allegedly saw her “doing drugs,” so they called police. When police showed up, Small, who was in an obvious diminished mental state, drove off. A police chase ensued.

During the chase, which never exceeded 35 mph, Small’s tires were blown out by spike strips. She was then pinned by two cruisers and a utility pole and riding only on her rims. Her car was effectively rendered immobilized.

Much more complete..and tells what happened afterwards, to the police, grand jury, prosecutor...all tried to get the police off and
that is exactly what happened. Many quotes from other stories about this killing.

On June 18, 2010, an unarmed mother struggling with a mental health breakdown was executed by two Glynn County Police officers in southern rural Georgia. Hyperbole aside, it was a firing squad. It shouldn't have happened. The officers who did it weren't threatened and they should be in jail right now for the murder of Caroline Small. Not just tragic and disturbing, what happened to her was criminal and the fact that the two officers who killed her are still in law enforcement shows just how outrageously corrupt the system is. It's not broken, though—it's working just how those who are running it intend.

First, I need you to see this video below. I'm sorry for its brutality and for the mandatory commercial that rolls before it begins, but you have to see it to understand the outrageousness of what happened to Caroline.

Police often shoot and kill people who are in their cars. They claim they fear for their safety and have no other choice. No police execution demonstrates this lie more than how police killed Caroline Small. I can hardly contain my emotions even now.

It is probably the most complete source on how it happened, and what happened later. It was published in the first week of July and the writer was Brad Schrade..:

If you read it, it seems to prove that everything that pointed to a police killing was covered up or altered. It also shows that the police lied about a whole lot..

http://investigations.myajc.com/caroline-small-shooting/

from the above story:
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

What happened in Small’s case demonstrates the broad powers police in Georgia have to shoot and kill unarmed citizens and to influence the outcome of their cases in the legal process. An Atlanta Journal-Constitution/Channel 2 Action News investigation of the case found that:
Her ex-husband, Keith Small, said he loved his wife and remembers her as a caring mother. (Special)

• Glynn County police officers interfered with the GBI’s investigation from the start, seeking to protect the officers.

• The department tampered with the crime scene and created misleading evidence that was shown to the grand jury.

• The local district attorney shared the state’s evidence with the officers nearly two months before the grand jury convened and cut an unusual deal with them just before it met.
